New 300mm VE4 Type 4 Wall Tie Now Available from BPC
We’re excited to announce the latest addition to our VE4 range – the 300mm Type 4 Housing Wall Tie, designed to meet the needs of projects with wider cavity widths.
This light-duty tie is classified as Type 4 and tested as Type A for acoustic performance in separating/party walls, fully compliant with BS EN 845-1 and NHBC requirements. It’s suitable for domestic dwellings up to 10 metres in height and engineered for cavities from 151mm to 175mm.
Manufactured from high-grade austenitic stainless steel, the tie features an enhanced multidrip design with off-centre drips to prevent moisture transfer. It guarantees a minimum 62.5mm embedment in each masonry leaf for optimum structural integrity.
Supplied in boxes of 250, our ties incorporate a unique dual-insert system that keeps them neatly aligned, allowing builders to remove one tie at a time while maintaining order and efficiency on site.
