Exciting Leadership News at BPC Building Products Ltd!
We’re proud to welcome Scott McAndrew as our new Technical Director, joining the Senior Leadership Team and spearheading the newly established BPC Innovation Centre.
With over 35 years of experience in timber engineering—including trusses, engineered floors, timber frame systems, and connectors—Scott is a true industry pioneer. He’s developed first-of-their-kind products, led structural, fire, and acoustic testing, and is widely recognised as one of the UK’s leading experts in engineered connectors.
Holding an MSc in Timber Engineering from Edinburgh Napier University, Scott brings deep technical expertise and a passion for innovation. In his new role, he’ll lead product development, testing, and technical support for our nationwide customer base of timber engineering manufacturers, builders’ merchants, and trade professionals.
Scott’s industry involvement is extensive: he’s served on the board and technical committee of the Trussed Rafter Association, contributes to British and European standards committees, and continues to shape best practices across the timber engineering sector.
